Midweek Prayer Requests

Good afternoon prayer partners!

I am updating earlier than planned to make you aware of a few prayer requests.

First of all, the praises! Camp has been going really well for Travis and the Red Babes. His group is working well together, and his campers are listening and understanding the daily lessons. The girls are having a blast with the games and the crafts. Praises for all the wonderful one-on-one conversations he's been able to have with these young ladies over the past few days.  Most of his group has a strong foundation in Jesus and are firm in their salvation.  Praises that about 10 campers in other groups prayed to receive Jesus today!  Praises that Travis is feeling energized and well rested even though staying asleep is difficult with the time change and the daily excitement.  He continues to feel extremely blessed by your prayers. Thank you for partnering with us.

The group is unfortunately experiencing some spiritual warfare. There are 4 teen girls from Colorado who are at odds with 2 ladies from our church. They are being disrespectful and telling the adults, to their face, during class, that they are terrible teachers and demanding that they be able to lead the group.  I find it so hard to imagine! It is a wedge sent straight from Hell and we pray that you rebuke this spirit of disunity in the group.  Huge discouragement for the ladies affected, and very infuriating to the rest of the group. It's been a big distraction Wednesday and Thursday. So please be praying about this for Friday and Saturday, the last two days of camp.  

There are three prayer requests for 3 of the Red Babes:

Shekainah Glory - she cannot see. It is affecting all areas of her life — She is devastated that she can no longer go to school because of this and she even had to sit out of the soccer game because she couldn't see.  We are praying for a miracle and the leaders are planning to lay hands on her tomorrow and pray for complete healing.  

Blessing - hurt her foot today during the games today. It was really painful, so prayers that it is not broken and heals quickly. Prayers that this doesn't keep her from attending camp.  

Abigail - She asked for prayers for shelter and Travis didn't hear the reason for this.  The local church is following up with all of these kids and none of them are supposed to be living on the street.  

I would also like to request prayers for supernatural provision of paper and pens for the Red Babes. These girls are desperate to have pens and paper. Travis has some paper to go around, but he only has a few pens for them all to share.  There is a nearby store he can walk to and he was going to try that before camp to see if he can find some pens.  Prayers that he ends the day with so many pens and papers for his ladies that he doesn't know what to do with them!
